Academic Advising Office x Project D | Comfort Zone: to Jump or Not to Jump?

Do you remember the recent "Soft Skills Development Wish List Online Survey"? According to the result, "the courage to jump out of the comfort zone" is the most popular soft skill! However, as the concept of "jumping out of the comfort zone" has become popular, what is the nature of the relationship between the comfort zone and ourselves? Why should we "jump out," and how does that affect us?

The Academic Advising Office, devoted to guiding students in self-awareness, participated in the end-of-semester sharing event, D-Day, where the College of Design and Innovation proposed "Project D" this semester. Our project,  "Comfort Zone: To Jump, or Not to Jump?" aims to escape habitual thinking patterns and clarify the connection between the comfort zone and oneself. Furthermore, it explores the imagination, feelings, and experiences of "jumping out of the comfort zone."

We've designed eight exciting experiential activities and will share some students' ideas on "comfort zone." We sincerely invite you to come to experience and contemplate the meaning of "comfort zone" and "jumping out of the comfort zone"!
